Mifepristone helps shorten induction abortion time

Chicago | The length of induction abortion is reduced with the use of mifepristone or misoprostol to prime or ripen the cervix and decrease resistance to dilation. In a poster presentation at the ACOG meeting, Dr. Lynn Borgatta and colleagues at Boston University school of medicine compared three overlapping cohorts of women undergoing induction abortion between January 2007 and June 2008
